But the true HD camcorders are up to 1080, so thats something to consider. If youre really a video connoisseur you might want to angle towards one of them. But I think for an all around camera, its tough to beat the TX1. The camera is due to arrive in stores this month for about five hundred dollars. A stand alone HD camcorder will probably cost you at least twice the price.
