VP Tim Hogan DVD on demand allows retailers to tap a virtual infinite inventory, so even the smallest store can have thousands of additional titles and make sure that the most popular ones always stay in stock. Youll be able to select from that virtual inventory and have a studio quality DVD burned in about ten minutes. Part of the breakthrough in our announcement is the availability of industry standard content protection. So youre going to get the same studio quality and same studio content protection through this DVD on demand. Quality content protection has really been the missing link to make premium content available on demand. And consumers will be able to download and burn movies at home as well with Qflix. Theyll be able to watch it on their PC, transfer it to a portable device, stream it over a home network to watch on a DVD, or burn a studio quality DVD when they want one for watching in the living room, in the car, anywhere theyve got a DVD player.
